We receive, collect and store any information you enter on my website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

This website is owned by me, Alison Wiseman, and operated by Wix. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use this website and services which I offer. This website offers visitors access to my yoga classes, workshops and retreats information. By accessing or using the website to access these services, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

When purchasing services or goods, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices I charge for the services and products I offer are listed on the website. I reserve the right to change prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. The fee for the services and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged to your chosen payment method.

When you conduct a transaction on my website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your persona l information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  3. To be able to contact my Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

  6. Financial data will be collected, stored and processed by Stripe. 

  7. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

My company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides the online platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  Wix privacy policy is here. 

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by my company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by their store and service providers.

I may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about my company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce my User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement I may have with you. For these purposes I may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

For example, Wix encrypts your Content when it is stored in our data centres. In addition, sensitive information such as credit card number and password that we request from you on the Alison Wiseman Yoga site is protected with encryption, such as Secured Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, during transmission over the Internet.

The servers on which personal information is stored (operated by Wix, Mailerlite and Stripe) are kept in a controlled environment with limited access. While I take reasonable efforts to guard personal information, I knowingly collect directly from you, no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on  partner systems or otherwise in my care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers.

To protect the confidentiality of personal information, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person. Please advise us immediately if you believe your password has been misused. In addition, always logout and close your browser when you finish your session. Please note that I will never ask you to disclose your password in an unsolicited phone call or email.
